U.S. Flood Control Corp.

Awarded Highest Level Certification for Perimeter Barrier Flood Protection

This designation was awarded after rigorous testing by The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) and FM Approvals, one of the world’s largest commercial insurance companies.

Perimeter barrier performance testing was conducted at the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering and Research Development Center (ERDC) located in Vicksburg, MS.

During testing, Tiger Dams™, the world’s most rigorously tested reusable flood control product, were set up in 1/5 the time of sandbags at less than 1/3 the cost and vehemently withstood high velocity riverine currents, giant logs, underwent intensive wave testing and were over-topped without failure. (see video)

Former Chief Glenn Hudson discussed how the First Nation having their own stockpile of flood fighting equipment gives them independence in the fight against flooding and the fact that all First Nations should have a similar stockpile.
