We are currently accepting applications for the Peguis First Nation Work Experience Project:
Traditional Arts/Small Business Introduction
Applicants for the project will participate in blanket making, beading, sewing, & other crafts. The goal is to provide knowledge/skills and self-employment for community members. Any previous experience is an asset.
It is mandatory that all project participants pre-register and complete all required paperwork on the following registration dates:
Date: Monday, May 14, 15, 16, 2018
Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Place: Peguis Mall Hallway
Crew 1: May 22 – June 1 (Dates subject to change)
Crew 2: June 4 – June 15 (Dates subject to change)
All placements are on a first come/ first serve basis as there is a maximum 30 spots available for this project (2 crews of 15 individuals).
1. Clients must be a current Income Assistance client from Peguis First Nation.
2. Must be willing to attend a mandatory training workshop.
