July 12, 2018 – Fisher Branch, Manitoba – The Chief and Council of Peguis First Nation (PFN) and Peguis Development Corporation (PDC) would like to thank all Peguis First Nation members, rural members, visitors from the surrounding areas, and dignitaries who attended grand opening of the One Stop Gas and Convenience Store located today. Peguis Leadership also recognizes the Peguis T.L.E. with their financial assistance and support in the acquisition of the One Stop Gas and Convenience Store.
“Historically, the rivers and lakes were our transportation systems. We have always been adjacent to these transportation systems, as far as our business, bartering, trade and ventures go. Today, we have this highway network which was a main factor in this purchase.” Chief Glenn Hudson, Peguis First Nation. “Peguis is focused on economic development and business which allows us, as a community, to generate revenue and opportunities for ourselves.”
Please be advised on our recent acquisition of One Stop Gas & Convenience Store located in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. We are unable to offer Treaty Gas and Tax Fee Discounts at this time.
The Peguis First Nation MUST complete the necessary steps to designate the lands to Reserve Status in order to offer Tax Free or Treaty Gas discounts.
Once the lands have been designated Reserve Status we will inform the community and surrounding areas and at such time we will be able to offer the discounts to our customers.
We look forward to your continued patronage.
