Position Customer Service Representative
Department: Customer Service Centre
Position Reports To:  Team Leader Contact Centre

Training will be held in Winnipeg Manitoba.  We are looking for individuals who want to train in Winnipeg with the possibility of employment in Peguis after training is completed.  The Training Opportunity is in partnership with Tribal Wi Chi Way Win Capital Corporation and Peguis Development Corp. TWCC provides commercial financing and business advisory services to Aboriginal businesses and to provide specific services to students with government sponsored student loans.  TWCC has an employment opportunity for a Call Centre Customer Service Representative for the Canada Student Loan Program.  Part-time positions are available ranging from 20 – 40 hours per week. (Number of positions to be determined).

Job Overview: Will be responsible for advising, assisting, and upgrading inquiries from existing and potential customers.  Handling inbound calls from existing and potential customers at a team-driven and fast-paced work environment.

Job Requirement: This job has access to Protected B data and as a result the incumbent is required to obtain their Personal Enhanced Reliability Check (PERC) clearance, prior to commencing the job.

Summary of Accountabilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a pleasant, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Identify customer’s needs through customer contact while reading/updating information.
  • Identify and resolve complaints to retain customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend appropriate options and solutions to customer’s problems. 
  • Accurately complete appropriate documentation for each transaction that complies with policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong and developed communication skills (listening/verbal/interpretation)
  • Knowledge of student loan policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of loan interest, principal, payments and balances.
  • Knowledge of PCs, and strong keyboarding skills.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours.

Early Childhood Educator Assistants & Substitute Workers

Peguis Free Spirits Child Care Center is seeking Early Childhood Educator Assistants for term postions and Substitute Workers.

Early Childhood Educator Assistants:

  • Must have experience in caring for 3 months-6 year old children
  • Experience in a Daycare setting an asset
  • Grade 12 Graduate

Early Childhood Educator Assistants:

  • Must assist and take direction from Floor Supervisor and Supervisor
  • Must treat children, parents, and staff with empathy, respect and equality
  • Must cooperate in the maintenance of positive relationships and maintain confidentiality in all areas of the Centre

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to undergo a Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Must possess or be willing to take First Aid/CPR Training
  • Must possess a Class 5 Drivers’ License
  • Must be willing to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (8 hour shifts)
