Peguis Child and Family Services require a Supervisor for the agency's Winnipeg Outreach office. Reporting to the Executive Director the Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to staff team in all areas of service delivery and support services.  The Supervisor is to coordinate all aspects of administrative functioning of the Outreach office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Social Work or related post-secondary degree, with a minimum of five years direct experience in the field of Child and Family Services;
  • Experience and Knowledge of Child and Family Services Act, AJI-CWI and provincial Case Management Standards;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills;
  • Possess strong case management, planning, analytical, assessment and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to apply First Nation perspective and approaches in working with staff, children & families;
  • Knowledge of community resources and collateral services;
  • Proficiency in computers - specifically Access Database, CFSIS and Intake Module System;
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and a vehicle are required as travel is necessary;
  • First Nation applicants are encouraged to self identify as being of First Nations descent.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Permanent Full-Time Position
Peguis Home and Community Care is seeking applications for a Home and Community Care Nurse to provide quality nursing services to the community of Peguis.  

Position Summary:

  • The HCC Nurse will receive direct supervision from the Home and Community Coordinator
  • Provide direct service nursing to home care clients in the community
  • Assist in case management, assessments, care plans, and electronic data input.
  • Willing to accept training as required

Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
  • Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and vehicle required
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, time management, organizational and computer skills
  • Foot Care Certification an asset
